From customer demand to your shopfloor without user intervention. When MRP plans a build for a trusted product, Dream MRP starts the work order, emails the owner the PDF, and puts it straight on the Work Order Factory display — no approval step, no one touching a screen.
Every time MRP runs, it works out which products you need to build to cover your committed demand. By default those builds arrive as Dream MRP Planned work orders — you review them, then release them to the shop floor.
For products where the calculation is reliable, you can skip that step entirely. Dream MRP starts the work order automatically, emails the assigned owner a PDF, and the build appears on the Work Order Factory display screen ready to make. Demand in, production out — nobody in the middle.
On the Settings page, turn on Start work orders automatically under Premium Features. This is the master switch for your whole organisation.
Open a manufactured item in Item Configuration, tick Start work orders automatically, and assign a work order owner. You pick exactly which products are trusted to run hands-free.
When MRP next runs — overnight or on demand — any planned work order for a flagged item with an owner is created already Started instead of waiting as a planned suggestion.
Because it's already started, the work order appears on the Work Order Factory display screen automatically, and the owner is emailed the work order PDF. No one has to open a screen to release it.
A night run can have new work orders waiting on the factory display before anyone arrives in the morning. A manually triggered run puts them on the screen the moment it finishes. Either way, if there's demand for a flagged product, the build is on the shop floor without a single click.
