The Dream MRP API lets you integrate MRP calculations into any workflow. Push items and sales orders, pull back planned purchase orders and work orders — all via standard REST endpoints.
The API can also be used alongside Xero or QuickBooks connections — combining data from multiple sources into a single MRP plan.
POST your product catalogue and current stock levels to Dream MRP via the API. Items are upserted on each push.
Push open sales orders as demand signals. Dream MRP uses these to calculate what needs to be made or purchased.

Sign up at app.dreammrp.com using your choice of accounts system (Xero or QuickBooks) or Shopify store.
Navigate to top right "Profile" menu, then select Settings. On the Automation tab, enable the API. Then go to API on the same menu and create an API key. Keep a copy of it as it is only visible once, but you can always revoke and create a new one if needed.
Push your first items and sales order. Run an MRP calculation and pull back the planned orders.
Integrate the pull/push cycle into your system's order management workflow. The API is REST/JSON with Bearer token authentication.
