Getting started
with QuickBooks.

Connect your QuickBooks Online account and Dream MRP will immediately start planning your material requirements from your live items and sales data.

prerequisite / before you start
What you'll need

Before connecting, make sure you have:

  • An active QuickBooks Online account with administrator access
  • Items configured in QuickBooks with appropriate codes
  • A Dream MRP account — sign up free
step_01 / initiate
Add an organisation

From your Dream MRP account, click "Add an Organisation" and select QuickBooks as your provider.

step_02 / authorise
Authorise with Intuit

You'll be redirected to Intuit to authorise Dream MRP. Sign in with your QuickBooks credentials and grant the requested permissions.

step_03 / sync
Initial data sync

Dream MRP syncs your items, inventory levels, vendors, and sales data from QuickBooks Online automatically.

step_04 / run
Run MRP

Once synced, run your first MRP calculation. Dream MRP calculates material requirements from your QuickBooks data and creates a plan.

Dream MRP starts in Read-Only mode — run the full calculation and review results before any orders are created.

Next steps

  • Import or build your Bills of Materials for manufactured items
  • Configure preferred suppliers per item
  • Run your first MRP calculation in Read-Only mode
  • Review and approve planned orders in Dream MRP
